Captured Moments Photography, by Jason and Kate Higdon is an award winning photography studio located in Owensboro, KY. The Higdon's started Captured Moments Photography in the fall of 2004, and have watched it grow to become the largest studio in Daviess County. The success of their studio is due to the Higdon's determination to create outstanding images for their clients while always providing exceptional customer service.

Kate is our primary photographer. Her love of children is her biggest asset. Kate enjoys working with children of all ages, getting to know them, understand their personalities, and capture their unique expressions. She is also a mother of small children and understands the importance of capturing these special moments. Kate is a very creative individual, which helps not only with small children, but with high school seniors as well. Senior photography gives Kate a different creative avenue, inspiring a more edgy, uncontrolled viewpoint.

Jason is our digital artist, web designer, and photographer. As an artist, Jason uses his talents to create memorable, unique images for our clients. His techniques have given Captured Moments Photography a "signature look" that is crafted into every final image. Jason is very aware and skilled in all the new technologies in the photography field and keeps the studio on the cutting edge of all the new trends.

Dodie , our office manager, is very knowledgeable about the day-to-day operations of the studio. She books appointments, does consultations and viewing appointments. Having been a client since the beginning of Captured Moments Photography, she understands the stresses and questions that many clients may have. Dodie is always willing to assist clients in preparing for a successful portrait day and enjoys making your time at Captured Moments Photography fun and stress-free.
