Captured Moments Photography located in Owensboro, KY was founded by Jason & Kate Higdon in 2004 and has grown into an international award-winning photography studio. In August of 2010, the Higdons moved into their new, state-of-the-art, 4600 square foot studio located at 801 Old Hartford Road. The success of their studio is a result of their determination to create outstanding images for clients while always providing exceptional customer service. They are so appreciative of all their clients and are committed to always striving for excellence, which is what those clients deserve.

Captured Moments Photography is run by a talented team who strive to grow in their photography skills each year to offer the Owensboro area their very best! Each member of the CMP Team plays a crucial role in the success of their studio.

Kate Higdon, M. Photog, Cf., Co-Owner and Portrait Print Artist

Kate is the co-owner of the studio. She started in photography over 17 years ago when her children were very small. Her talent and commitment to continuous education along with dedication to customer service helped to build a strong business that provides beautiful and timeless portraits to their many clients. Her philosophy is that life should be fun, individuality should be celebrated and love should be cherished and that is the vibe the studio projects into every session.

Jason Higdon, M. Photog, Cf., M. Artist, Co-Owner and Digital Print Artist

Jason is co-owner of the studio. He is really responsible for it's creation since Kate's first professional camera was a Christmas gift from Jason over 17 years ago. Jason's dedication to high quality images and never ending creativity are his strong suits. He is always thinking outside the box, learning new techniques and staying on the cutting edge of photography. He is also an educator in the field of Digital Art and is well renowned in the industry.
